Whether in the state of Texas, or the state of Maine, Barbeque
is serious business. Here at DJ'S, our goal is to produce the
Best BBQ North of Dallas right here in the state of Maine. With our roots deep in
Central Texas, we learned what BBQ was all about at an early age. OK, we didn't realize how much work went into producing it, but, we did learn what BBQ is supposed to taste
like and we strive to deliver that taste to you. That taste makes night's spent
"sleeping" at the Pit, continuously adding a split or two
to the fire, both satisfying and gratifying. We take Great Pride in what we
serve, cut no corners, and are always striving to improve. Maybe that's
why DJ'S was picked by the Lewiston Sun Journals "Eats" critic as

at DJ'S, we take pride in the fact that we cut no corners from start to finish.
All our Q is slow smoked using nothing but native hardwoods for our heat source;
No Propane, Charcoal or Electricity, just a Real Wood Fire. We believe this is
the only way to obtain the true taste of real BBQ, be it Texas Style or any one
of the various regional styles known for producing great Q. It's all about Not
Rushing, A Clean Fire, Great Seasonings, Completely Home-Made Sauce and
putting in the time it takes to produce the best BBQ we possibly can. It's the

Our menu includes The Pride of Texas BBQ, Beef Brisket; along with Loin Back and Beef Ribs, Pulled Pork, BBQ'D Chicken & Smoked Sausage (Our own made in Maine Texas Hot Links), with all the fixins to compliment your meal. We offer complete dinners and sandwiches to go, or, comfortable outside dining. We also offer Full Service, and On Site Cooking and Catering. All our meats are slow smoked on Native Maine Hardwoods in our Texas built pit.
